Growing up, my mother was constantly taking photos (and still does) – it clearly must have rubbed off on me! I have always leaned toward the creative side whether it has been in music, figure skating, or my photography. In 2010, I realized I wanted photography to become an even bigger part of my life. Before moving out of Providence to North Attleboro, Massachusetts, I took advantage of living in the city with Rhode Island School of Design right at my doorstep and received my Certificate in Digital Photography in 2012. I find myself enamored with photographing just about anything: landscapes, still life, animals, but most of all people.
For me, photography is a way to capture the special moments in life and also relive the memories being around loved ones. With so much nowadays being purely digital, I believe it is still important to have beautiful portraits and heirlooms for your home which can ultimately be passed down in your family for future generations. Now that I am a mother of two young, spirited boys, I know how important it is capture these fleeting moments so that I can share them when they're older.
I have a passion for many other things as well!
I am a cat lover and my husband and have two Siamese cats named Jing and Koji. I have grown up with cats my entire life.
I have been figure skating for over 30 years (dating myself, here) and have coached children of all ages how to skate since 2007.
I love summer trips to Martha’s Vineyard. I grew up spending many summers there.
After graduating from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, I taught elementary music for 3 years and I still love working with children to help them appreciate various forms of art. I enjoy working with kids and teenagers through any means possible, especially in my photography.
If you feel like we may be a good fit and are considering booking a session, I would love to hear from you!
